A few days back, after scouting for information, I came to know that this year too there will be an abhishekam for our Kuladeivam, Sri Mahasastha on Sunday, 4th Sep 2011. However the timing is not known.

Temple Matters
Sri Krishnamurthy Sivachariar (temple priest) is no longer in the services of Lord Sastha. For the present a priest has been fixed to do the temple duties till a permanent solution is found.

Punar Nirman of Sivan Koil
The Punar Nirman of Sri Oushathamangalambiga samedha Bhujapureswarar temple at Suraikayur is to commence on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 with the Vaasthu Pooja scheduled between 9.00 and 9.20 a.m. This will be followed by Asthra homan from 27th to 30th.
